Some day in my room I was thinking about my hypothesis and the universe. Then I realised that I could explain with the hypothesis the expansion of the universe. My conclusion about the expansion was against the opinion of the astronomers. Most or all accepted those days the theory of the oscillating universe. The big bang caused the expansion of the universe. The attraction between the stars would gradually decrease the velocity of the stars. After a very long time the expansion would cease. Then all the stars would move back to the center of the universe. When all matter was together, again a big bang would follow. According to my hypothesis this is not possible. I made this discovery before July 1983.

To the magazine Scientific American I sent a handwritten article about my hypothesis. I got this article back. In her letter of December 15, 1983, mrs. Linda H. wrote: “We are sorry to say that it is not suited to our limited needs. It was nonetheless good of you to think of us in this connection.”

To the editors of Time I had sent a letter or an article about my hypothesis. At September 12, 1983 they sent me a letter. In this letter, signed by mrs. Joan W., stands: “We appreciate your offering us material for TIME but are sorry we are unable to use it. TIME is a completely staffwritten magazine.”

If an editor writes an article about the hypothesis, then the problem is solved.

In both cases I wrote about the hypothesis, not about my discovery.

In February 1984 I sent a letter about my hypothesis to the KNAW. This is a national scientific institute. I got a letter, dated March 2, 1984, from the Vanderwaals-Laboratorium. In this letter stands that mr. E. d. K. is willing to talk with me about my problem. I made an appointment and met him in a building. He rejected the hypothesis. He proposed a different mechanism of the gravityparticles. I regarded this as not acceptable. He told that professor Trappeniers has said that investigation should be done on the hypothesis. I don’t know if this investigation has been done.

To the magazine American Journal of Science I had sent a letter at August 7, 2013. I wrote: “Many years ago I drew up a hypothesis to explain gravity. That time the astronomers assumed that the big bang caused the expansion of the universe.” …………. “With my hypothesis I could explain the expansion of the universe. For this explanation a big bang is not necessary. I concluded that the expansion will go faster and not cease. I made this conclusion in 1983 or earlier.” I added the hypothesis as an appendix. In her letter of August 20, 2013, Mrs. Joan R. answered: “The topic of your paper is not within the scope of American Journal of Science.”

Astronomy belongs to science. I advise the editors to choose a better name for their magazine.
